A mizzle blowing in. Quite pleasant after the last few days.

By the time they've been given luxury compost and a regular liquid spa treatment, the finest rain water my butts can provide I don't think I save anything but they are satisfying.

Morning all, looking to be nice out there. Warm but with a breeze to cool us down a bit.

Who on earth would answer a poll saying they have no compassion? Wondering a bit at the sampling here.

Exciting, you'll have plenty of support on here if you do. I found it tough initially but it's gradually clicking into place.

I'm amazed you've cottoned onto the fact that is an excuse to buy more plants in weeks where you can't find six good ones.

Only away 2 nights, so should be fine. Moved a few pots to shade and the washing up bowls put into action for the few that won't manage. It's meant to rain again but don't want to take chances.

Could be worse, you could be watering in the rain. Going away and don't trust the rain will actually carry on soaking the garden properly.

She is, but a very critical little madam. She felt their hydrangeas were good but their sweet peas and dahlias not up to her level.

She did well with an impatient 4 year old urging us on to look at the next bit of the garden. She likes a water feature.
