It can be hard. You see everyone else's career as a highlight reel while your own feels like it's grinding forward in slow motion.

I get it. I've watched as people I recommended to editors leap-frogged me. I've seen people I showed the ropes to sell 10Γ— what I have.

But I've also felt that fear of a new project and hope that my friends and peers would support me. That empathy wins out in the end.

It's easy to forget that what others post to social media is oft' a filtered, "more perfect" feed; hides their own conflict & insecurities
