Why did the president knowingly mislead America about the coronavirus threat?

The time between Nov 3 and Jan 20 may also be the most erratic and dangerous part of the trump Presidency. There will be no rails and no consequences. I shudder to think what he may do to burn the house down because America doesn't love him any more.

I hate to say this, but should we blast images of people on ventilators across the airwaves to see if we can encourage more careful behavior? Should we identify how people are catching it during everyday tasks? It seems that we r missing something in the communication about it.

Missing communication definitely. No unified clear voice, no real large scale public health education going on. Just here and there, state by state smaller efforts. Itโ€™s not being treated like an emergency so...letโ€™s go to WalMart!

And results of the election may cause more anxiety. If Biden wins as we hope, trump will attempt to do bad, crazy things to all of us!
