In case you were wondering, in the entire article there’s no mention of Hillary & Tim Kaine. So it wasn’t just a bad tweet or awkward phrasing — this article by Maureen Dowd claims a man & woman haven’t run together on a Dem presidential ticket in 36 years, & the NYT just ran it.

Maureen Dowd famously hates Hillary Clinton & even kinda made a career out of hating Hillary for a couple decades, so I’m actually pretty sure this entire article was a troll by her to dunk on Hillary, & she’s probably as surprised as any of us that the NYT printed her shitpost.

LOL. In classic Hillary Clinton fashion she was late to the joke & dunked on the ***corrected*** New York Times tweet which finally ***accurately*** states that it has been 36 years since a male Dem presidential nominee has picked a female VP. This is all just Incredible Content.

You should really take into account that the last time it actually happened was 2016, so really like 30 years ago
