Today at the Prime Minister attacked me because I want to enhance democracy at work in support of international solidarity to support human rights. Disgraceful. Watch film to see why international solidarity is so important.

Amid Brexit chaos, important not to lose sight of issues like blighting the lives of millions. Last year saw the highest number of excess winter deaths since the 1970s. There is nothing inevitable about fuel poverty. It is a political choice, and a shameful one.

May now has to win a vote in her own party to remain Prime Minister. Expect announcement very soon that she is flying to Europe for further assurances and the vote must be delayed indefinitely...

In 35 years as an MP I've never witnessed such an abject mess as this Prime Minister has made of these Brexit negotiations.

The Tories told us again and again that this was the only possible Brexit deal. Theresa May pulled it because she knew she would lose the vote. This government is repeatedly failing us. Time to move over

Don't normally share Tories, but this is extraordinary. Watch Mark Francois & remember that this is a Tory MP, ripping into his own Govt: "We wanted to vote on it, the people expected us to vote on it, and the Govt have gone and run away and hidden in the toilets"

We don't have a functioning government. Theresa May is trying to buy herself one last chance to save this deal. But if she doesn’t secure the changes required then she must make way for those who can.

Seventy years ago today the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted. The worldwide challenges to human rights are enormous. We remember the words of Martin Luther King: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

Despite the PM’s promises that the gov would stay away, UK officials met attendees at Saudi investment conference. Tonight said “This is typical of the government’s hypocrisy over the Khashoggi murder”
