500k over the cap with that squad, finishing where we did? Unless transfer fees are part of the cap (genuine question) I can't see it. IF we are? Heads must roll at the very top.

Not true, the actual and true fact is that next years potential squad with players coming in and out (prior to releasing Logo and Barrow) would be £500k over cap, therefore the squad still needs tweaking prior to next season. there has been no breach and wont be next season.

But Logo and Barrow weren't under contract for next season were they? Would mean more than just Mike will be released, and does that mean that we wont be getting another 10 to push George, or another 12 so Toomua can play 10?

There have been loopholes exploited by most clubs since the caps introduction but these loopholes continue to appear and then close as the laws evolve.

I think a precedent has already been set hasn’t it? Over the cap that’s ok pay all the other clubs some of your TV money to keep it quiet...
