While Facebook moderators wade through incredibly disturbing "content" every day, here's an example of some "content" Facebook blocked: Facebook banned ads from an Irish law firm asking content reviewers to come forward and take legal action.

Fabulously atmospheric treck through the gloom at Bridestones - 14000 feet above sea level. The Great Bridestone looks like she was fashioned by Giacometti. Millions of years of weather erosion shaped these prehistoric rocks. Emerging from the mist it feels like another world.

Unfortunately a lot of people are misinformed/unaware of how much (i.e. how little) funding gets and how much we struggle to do all of the vital conservation work we want to do.

This is Photography. A heartbreaking image, which must be as tough for Shaun to share as it was for him to make. Yet it's one made with love, and although it's clear to see the hurt and sadness in his mum's eyes I think if you dig a little deeper you can see that love reflected.

It’s true. 16k gratefully received by frm govt this year up frm 13k last year. But hard to keep going on this. As a charity focused on conserving wild birds(public good),we rely on the generosity of the public & tendering for projects.

I hope yourself & all find a way through to full recovery. The fatigue is so ‘mundanely awful’ I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Hard to grasp if you don’t have experience of it. Be kind to those who do.

Thanks for writing this Eleanor. On this inhaler... ‘ I have been upgraded to a steroid inhaler that, generously, keeps giving me oral thrush.’ I was told to rinse & gargle mouth immediately after using to avoid / minimise chances of this.

Seagrass beds are nursery areas for fish like pollack. I know that well because I was surrounded by them during the surveys. If you need a photo to prove it, this is it. You lose these inshore habitats, you lose the fish.

‘The males anchor themselves firmly to the surface then use their legs to transmit vibrations from their bodies to the surface. This sound can often be heard as a rhythmic ticking, somewhat like a quartz clock, which fades in and out and can be heard by human ears.’ 👀👀 👀👀

Yep. Exactly that. The stress it causes in worry lingers even when the scam is unsuccessful.
