Activists have questioned whether Buck’s donations to elected officials have protected him from arrest and charges. Since 2009, Buck has donated more than $520,000 for local, state and federal campaigns.

Every day that Ed Buck remains a free man, the chances of a third man dying in his apartment increases.

Given the recent tragedy of the deaths of Gemmel Moore and Timothy Dean, it’s imperative to have people in leadership in West Hollywood who have the political will to do the right thing. Currently, four of the five council members have taken money from Ed Buck.

You do not have to be a West Hollywood resident to volunteer or donate--just to vote, lol. If you’re not busy this weekend, consider coming out and helping her.

The election is March 5 and if she’s elected she’ll be the first African American ever to be elected in West Hollywood. This weekend she’ll be kicking off her city council campaign’s canvassing efforts—going door to door to reach out to the people of West Hollywood.

I’m getting a lot of requests for a link to the Justice4Gemmel and All of Ed Buck’s Victims fund. Here you go!

What we need is a joint press conference between the sheriff’s department and the district attorney’s calling for witnesses and victims. In that press conference it needs to be stressed that no witnesses or victims will be detained, arrested or charged based on info they provide.

The investigation will be driven by facts and evidence, nothing more.  All findings will be submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for review and determination as to whether the actions of Mr. Buck warrant criminal filings.”

I have directed that the investigation be timely and that all aspects be considered to get to the bottom of what occurred, including a secondary review of the tragic death of Gemmel Moore for any similarities which occurred at the same location in July of 2017.

They’re waiting for the toxicology report—which I believe was expedited on this case. We’re all waiting for those results 👀👀👀

If they don't get it together we can expect in about a year from now for the district attorney's office to come back and say they just couldn't find enough admissible evidence to prosecute Ed Buck.

Without the cooperation of both victims and witnesses--there can't be a full and thorough investigation as promised. Lacey AND the sheriff's department need to do their part and let potential victims and witnesses know they are needed and will be respected.

Like with , in order to bring criminal charges against Ed Buck, we need actual witnesses and victims to have the courage to tell their stories. They need to feel safe to do so. We need our DA to take what's happening at 1234 Laurel Ave. in West Hollywood seriously.
