30 years ago tomorrow. ...The greatest ever finish 2 a league season; the real impossible was done at Anfield when Arsenal had 2 beat the League leaders Liverpool on their own pitch by 2 clear goals 2 win their first league title since 1971. My greatest day as a Arsenal fan.

De Graafschap won 2-1 away at Sparta Rotterdam tonight taking a huge step to maintaining their Eredivisie status. If they avoid defeat in the 2nd leg in Doetinchem on Tuesday they will stay up. Sparta Rotterdam may feel that a big chance came and went tonight

Indeed I do Shabs and it is fully understandable too. We can only concentrate on what we do and win our first European trophy in 25 years on Wednesday and what will be will be in Madrid ?

No not at all. 89 is one of the greatest moments in the history of the club. 13 League titles. How many have Spurs got ? Arsenal had 20 chances to win the CL , reached one final and blew it. We only have ourselves to blame if Spurs win it before we do. We have to win on Wednesday

FT Sporting 2-2 Porto. This game never ceases to amaze. Porto better team in 90 mins, but couldn't finish the job. Sporting improved in extra time, took lead and seemed to have won the Cup. Last seconds, Felipe heads in and it's a penalty shootout!

RKC Waalwijk 0-0 Go Ahead Eagles in the 🇳🇱 promotion play-off rounds. The 2nd leg in is Deventer on Tuesday. This could go either way. RKC Waalwijk have surprised and played well but I tip Go Ahead Eagles with home advantage to get over the line. All to play for

I don’t know ? As I say I always understood it was changed due to not being able to copyright Latin. But this was 2003 so a long time ago and a lot of clubs have changed their club badges especially in recent years. It must be the ‘ in thing ‘

I fully agree Ken. I think the crest was redesigned in 2003 because your can’t copy Latin text by all accounts. The old crest was top knotch though
