It was in jest! I think running a meetup the size of kubernetes london is honestly harder. The community aspects of CM are the hardest part. Writing code is easy - explaining your plans, thoughts and reasons is 10x harder.

The cert-manager Slack channel on has just hit 1k members, making it the 11th biggest channel there πŸ€ͺ this also coincides with today's release of v0.5.0! πŸŽ‰ I'm still amazed at how far the project has come over the past year or so. More exciting things to come!

It depends on what extent of support you are after. Gateway right now handles TLS secrets badly and requires fixed key names in a single secret which is quite awkward. Beyond that, solving http01 challenges using VirtualService instead of ingress requires:
