At , amongst other matters, I raised the two year detention of Nazanin Zaghari-Radcliffe, with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister, Dr. Kazem Sadjadpour. Regrettably he did not address my corncerns, which I raised again privately afterwards

I'm not a member of the JURI committee, so won't be able to vote at that stage, however, when it reaches the plenary, I will most certainly be voting against.

All the main aspects of leaving the EU were fully debated in the referendum; customs union & trade deals, single market, subscriptions, ECJ, free movement, fisheries etc, The country voted out. "Soft" Breixt is fake Brexit. A construct of the defeated political establishment.

Right now, in 1940 Churchill was addressing Parliament, "Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'"

Much talk about the , the real benefit won’t be found on any balance sheet, and is truly unquantifiable - A sovereign parliament, able to pass good, & repeal bad legislation, as seen fit by the elected government of the day. Politics will become even more relevant.

Caroline Flint is a rare MP who supported Remain but actually understands why her constituents disagreed with her and respects their decision. The odious treatment she received from Soubry and her "fellow" Labour MPs shows what a bubble they live in.

My Leave constituents have been insulted, says Caroline Flint. They’re not all against immigration but they want us to answer the question: why hasn’t Britain got the workforce we need? Why don’t my constituents get a look in?

Tory Anna Soubry trying to imply Labour’s Caroline Flint is some kind of bigot for wanting immigration control. Just appalling.
