Nice work , Fallen Order is another game to have subtitle speaker names, adjustable subtitle size and adjustable subtitle background opacity :) I like that it breaks down what each difficulty option changes too

Indeed. I'm very impressed with it so far. I'll be submitting my deaf accesiblity review for CIPT soon and it'll be scoring pretty high... Maybe a little short of perfect.

Yeah still a ways from perfect. The ingredients are there though. Gears' captioning for sounds + Overwatch's ability to turn different types of caption on/off + configurable size/contrast/speaker name from lots of games... Those rolled together.. though some other presentation..

Shouldn't be too long now before. Game wraps the whole lot up together into one solid package of captioning that's as good as what's expected and required in other industries.

100% More and more games that are getting parts of this right are making it easier to point at those games and say "This can be done", "We can do it this way", and most crucially - "It was important to this team to put in that effort. Let's make it important to us" :)
