Disgraceful. The EU Parliament has just voted to not even debate the ongoing violence against protesters in , despite the imprisonment of politicians in Spain and days of violence in the streets of Barcelona and across the whole region.

Panic across Europe as it dawns on them that UK leaving will mean EU work/environment standards will fall even further behind London’s. Labour Party spin room in a frenzy as whole Brexit strategy begins to unravel. Diane Abbott suggests shouting ‘Nazi’ continuously as solution.

Tusk interfered in UK for months..trying to reverse the referendum But not a word about 5 days of Spanish riot police beating protesters in Don’t let the Moa-like pics with kids on his profile fool you. He puts the interests of Europe’s elite before the people.

There are many reasons to support our political independence from the EU. Here—freed from the Westminster spin machine of constant exxageration, outrage and confrontation—Vince Cable gives a refreshingly frank assessment of some of potential benefits.

European Parliament says it will vote on deal at the point where it can’t be modified any further by Westminster, which officials believe is virtually impossible this week. (It might not have to have received Royal Assent, though.)

The debacle surrounding the installation of the new unelected EU Commission. Big news across Europe, but barely registers in UK, despite most parties in UK calling for a second referendum. If we stay in, we should know who will be governing us, and how they were appointed.

Sir Oliver Letwin says he wasn't trying to scupper Brexit. He just wanted to take No Deal off the table. But as one MP told : "If it was a matrix of options before, it’s now galaxy of variables post Letwin."

An EU army is a great idea. What could possibly go wrong.. Previous attempts worked so well in the past.. High time to arm up the continent and then we can also make sure those crazy independentists in Britain, Catalonia and elsewhere all fall back into line..

Bercow is unlikely to allow the Meaningful Vote, and if he does, the chances are very high it fails. So that's not the most important thing to watch out for today. That's priced in. The most important issue for today is the ordering of the next steps. /ends

EU response to Article 50 extension request likely to be ‘until January with option to exit early if deal is passed’ in my opinion.
