The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch held two taxi operators today, each with over 700 outstanding tickets. One had 772 and the other 751. Both were taken into custody and will face the court tomorrow.

The August Town Police is seeking the public’s assistance in finding the parents/guardians of this child, who gave her name as Mahalia Smith. She was left at the Hope Valley Experiemental School in St. Andrew and was taken to the August Police Station. Please call 876-927-2184

Derrymore Road/Courtney Drive in the vicinity Eastwood Park Road temporally closed to facilitate the processing of a crime scene. Motorists are being asked to use alternative routes. As soon as the scene is finished processing, an update will be sent out.

Motorists are being advised that both the east bound and west bound lanes, in the vicinity of Ferry on the Mandela Highway, is being impacted by flood waters. Motorists will experience delays and is being asked to use alternative routes where possible.
