I have little say other than pinging work chatrooms saying "there's someone interesting on twitter! Can we hire them!?" but there are several positions open at my employer (in Berlin, rust, js [mostly react], entirely open-source, [caveat: blockchain])

Sad/Lazy homemade cheetos: dried soy protein strips + your choice of powdered flavoring. You're not going to be as thorough as real cheetos, so you will end up with a container full of flavor powder and nothing to carry it (maybe mix it into a sauce later idk)

Register with the FEC, ask your friends and neighbors to use their vouchers on your campaign, use that money to buy online advertising, there: you're bootstrapped. (If you have no friends willing to give you money that costs them nothing, maybe you have bigger problems.)

The idea that someone should be forced to interact with your system under a single identity exludes, and deliberately removes power and agency from, marginalized and at risk communities.

Maybe wait until after Istanbul, and any potential fallout, to turn off autoupdate. 😅

Yep, of course! Having people show off their nodes on telemetry is also a nice way to cheer everyone on that we really appreciate 👍 I'm just being a little paranoid 😅

That page is public so you might want to run with `--no-telemetry`, or point to a private telemetry endpoint if you don't want to share information about your node 😅

So there's an initiative for a "carbon tax and dividend" (aka, UBI funded via a carbon tax) going through the European Citizens' Initiative process atm: (there are more: but the one above is p/comprehensive [+ UBI is cool])

Well, you kinda just have to create a system that is more composable and/or includes Ethereum itself.

Although it's probably similar attitudes to mine keeping level headed people out of these places and making them worse Although I guess Microsoft is getting better (Apologies for making my usual Sunday night badpost in your replies.)

I'm genuinely confused everytime someone reminds me that people are still competing in large numbers to work at places like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and Amazon. They probably dump millions into recruiting kids to replace all the disaffected people constantly quitting.

I am describing "category error" - the fallacy of composition, and the fallacy of division Pulled "incomplete synergies" out of nowhere because I didn't know the actual term I was describing 🙃

and incomplete synergies. (x+y+z = bad, does not mean x, y, or z are bad on their own. a+b+c = good, does not mean that a, b, or c are good on their own.)

Broke: slippery slope fallacy ("when does it end!?") Woke: sticky slope fallacy ("THIS is where it ends!") Example: Day 1: Bitcoin is the only thing that matters! Day 2: Bitcoin and Ethereum are the only things that matter!

Bot meme is the same thing as NPC meme, and when you call someone a bot when they aren't a literal automated script, or call someone a troll just because they disagree with you or play devils advocate, you're just pouring concrete in your brain and letting it dry.
