This is hugely embarrassing for SNP Ministers and points to a growing concern at the data Nicola Sturgeon and SNP Ministers present. It’s simply not credible for SNP Ministers to make assertions when it is clear that data they are using cannot be verified.

The SNP had no plans to provide property tax relief until the British Government embarrassed them into a last minute u-turn. However, with no date set to make the change, the SNP now risk stalling Scotland’s housing market.

Elspeth and I are on opposite sides of the constitutional debate but I count her as a friend and admire her for this brave decision. This is the third SNP Cllr to resign over bullying from Susan Aitken, at what point will the SNP step in and say enough? Glasgow deserves better.

Now that there is no legal obligation to offer EU students free tuition, the SNP must lift the unfair cap on Scottish domiciled students which denies 15,000 Scots a place at a Scottish university every year.

Scotland will benefit hugely from the Chancellor's summer statement - especially from the job retention bonus, the VAT cut for the hospitality sector and the 'Eat out to help out' scheme. It's time the SNP matched this ambition.

Following announcement yesterday of further support for Scotland, I asked the Finance Secretary why she is not matching the Chancellor's cut to Stamp Duty, and why her alternative plans for LBTT are being delayed.

Today the SNP announced the end of free university for EU students. Fine, they now must make sure that the £ savings are used to get rid of the ridiculous and unfair cap on Scottish students attending Scottish universities.

The Finance Minister, irrespective of her constitutional or political views, has a duty to be open, honest and factually accurate when talking about our nation's finances, because the public deserve so.

Tom Arthur cannot even accurately quote the FAI. ‘’It is correct to say that an extra £800m is to be added to the Scottish Budget via consequentials on top of the £3.8bn we already knew about. This takes the total consequentials since Spring to around £4.6bn.’’

An uncomfortable interview for on . Trying to hide the full benefits to Scotland of ’s announcements yesterday, she was left floundering defending her £21m figure. The SNP’s response has been woeful and misleading. Meanwhile, saves jobs.

Oh dear. On Kate Forbes doubles down on the claim that Scotland benefits from just £21m from yesterday’s announcements - and quite rightly is taken to task by

The SNP must match the Chancellor’s boost on stamp duty for the sake of householders, first-time buyers and the economy. If they don't the consequences for families and the wider economy will be dire.

VAT reduction from Chancellor is a huge boost for hard pressed tourist and hospitality businesses in my constituency along with the initiative. Let’s now all do our bit to support them too by enjoying what they have to offer 🍽☕️🥃

Scottish Finance Minister sadly missing the point here. Most of what the Chancellor announced is UK wide so businesses, employees and sectors across Scotland are getting direct support from the UK Government.

Scotland will receive £800m from ’s announcements today. That has real economic potential if wisely used in a targeted manner. So let’s hear more from SNP ministers on how they’ll use it and less complaining from a party on their 3rd Economy Secretary in as many years.

Oops, seems Kate Forbes has publicly welcomed vouchers just as doubles down on his own opposition to support for the hospitality & tourism sectors.
