US is a global menace. I'm in Venezuela to attend meeting geared to forge global response to unilateralism. In Iran’s engagement with the world, we neither call for the ouster of leaders, nor “bolster” them—decisions that are for the PEOPLE of a nation.

Unlike the piracy in the Strait of Gibraltar, our action in the Persian Gulf is to uphold int'l maritime rules. As I said in NY, it is IRAN that guarantees the security of the Persian Gulf & the Strait of Hormuz. UK must cease being an accessory to of the US.

Despite unlawful sanctions we've made significant progress in people’s empowerment & equality. 27% of faculty members, 50% of college students & 37% of medical doctors in Iran are now women: 60% increase in appointments, with goal that by 2020, 30% of decision makers are women.

At UN conference on sustainable development, I maintained that extraterritorial sanctions the US imposed on Iran—in violation of Security Council Resolution 2231—represent the greatest threat to the achievement of sustainable development goals of Iran and many of our neighbors.

For 8 YEARS, Saddam showered our cities with missiles & bombs provided by East & West. Meanwhile, NO ONE sold Iran any means of defense. We had no choice but building our own. Now they complain. Instead of skirting the issue, US must end arms sales to Saddam's reincarnations.

On this day 27 years ago, over 8,000 Bosnian Muslims were massacred on European soil—the worst atrocity on the continent since WWII. In this age of increasingly normalized anti-Muslim bigotry, such horrors MUST'NT be forgotten—not by Muslims, and not by Europeans.

Irony of IAEA Board meeting on US request: a. US abhors JCPOA, axed & violates it, and punishes all who observe it; b. US has no standing to raise JCPOA issues; c. Iran fully complied with JCPOA per 15 IAEA reports; d. Iran's actions are lawful under para 36 of accord:

Bolton & Netanyahu killed Paris agreement between E3 & Iran in '05 by insisting on zero enrichment. Result? Iran increased its enrichment 100 fold by 2012. Now they've lured into killing w/the same delusion. hasn't learned. BUT THE WORLD SHOULD.

sold on the folly that killing thru can get him a better deal. As it becomes increasingly clear that there won’t be a better deal, they're bizarrely urging Iran's full compliance. There's a way out, but not with in charge

Iran is neither a member of the EU nor subject to any European oil embargo. Last I checked, EU was against extraterritoriality. UK's unlawful seizure of a tanker with Iranian oil on behalf of is piracy, pure and simple. It sets a dangerous precedent and must end now.
