Tissue vs blood ctDNA NGS assess different things. Blood ctDNA shed from multiple sites; tissue assesses only small piece sampled. Blood ctDNA suppressesd by therapy (tissue not). Since tumors heterogenous even in same patient, results are not supposed to be the same

My student told me she messed up her experiment. I told her not to come back to lab again. Then we laughed and hugged. After a successful defense and official word that her third paper has been accepted, my first PhD student has flown the nest. Feeling proud - and a little sad.
