I was inspired by post on Zero-Click searches so I decided to check my own queries. I analyzed 20MM unique queries for 16 top authority sites over 12 months. I found the following: 1. Zero-Click queries are about 7.5% of total analyzed queries. (1 of 4)

2. While average share of Zero-Click searches has been stable this year, the impression share of these queries has been growing steady over the past 12 months. Which means more high search-volume queries are producing Zero-Clicks. (2 of 4)

3. The highest Zero-Click queries share over past 12 months was in December. Couldn't find why, Holidays maybe!! 4. More Zero-Click Searches in USA (almost double) than non-USA 5. While Mobile has more Zero-Click searches, Desktop has more Zero-Click Impressions. (3 of 4)

John, for clarification, Iā€™m guessing this SERP corpus includes almost no Local results? That could explain a big chunk of the difference given that local intent accounts for 20-35% of queries depending on which authorized or unauthorized ;) Google source you listen to?

I jusr checked zero clicks for 2.9m Google searches in Denmark. Not many commercial keywords in there, and I assume that many also count as Google image searches

Assuming this is GSC data so only shows clicks on your results and not competitors? This is still a pretty good proxy. Interested to know whether rich results may have played a role? Considered segmenting rich result / featured snippet impressions? Thanks for sharing!
