no pandemic lasts forever, so if Trump just keeps saying it will be over soon, eventually he’ll be right. The problem is a lot of ppl get sick and die needlessly between now and then.

The NYT editorial board has one Latina (me). is a bigger operation than just the board and has several other excellent Latinx editors, contributors. Obvi more are needed & welcome & please do apply. But pls be careful not to accidentally erase other Latinx on our desk

I've spent the majority my career in globally resource-limited settings where we've had to do things like shuffle patients on & off too-few ventilators to try to get them all through the night There is no reason this should be happening in the US
