Plus, those ADA lawsuits look like a pain.

Wait, aren't you the person that freaked out about google linking to other SEO articles and then started ranting, "i don't even have a website to link to!!!"? This is my fault for engaging. This one is on me.

I am clearly no match for your expertise. I was a fool to ever challenge you. Your wonderful come across has persuaded me of how wrong I am. Thank you for your service.

This is frustrating. I'm struggling to come up with the right way to put it, but Google limiting access to this site is authoritarian in a way that affects people who take their health into their own hands pretty directly.

Kinda feels like you are here to battle, so i am going to politely bow out of this one. Cheers.

The "Google as the Thought Police" point is pretty darn salient. Not sure I want a bunch of standfordites deciding what is and isn't good information for me to consume.

Have not, have usually had bigger wins to go for. But I don’t work on image heavy sites.

The more I think about it, does have a good long term POV. It’s no longer the growth hack it was 10 years ago that can provide the type of returns LPs require. It was once the Wild West with lots of unclaimed land, it’s now a discipline that requires a lot of resources.

The people who say "job titles don't matter" are usually the same people that have to manage the P&L 🤔

So yeah, sticking with for now, if i ever loose audio on a 20 minute recording, I will be v upset, but, it hasn't happened yet and products grow and evolve overtime. I'm sticking it out with them for now.

Loom fells much more synchronous, I can answer comments on my time, like an email - chat is instant, and there's a pressure to respond quickly.... I don't want that pressure in my workflow. Totally see the value there, just not right for me.

Wanted to give video a try, and their sales rep was great, but the video quality is laggy on the talking head portion. Also, feels more or less like an entry point into Drift (video comments are Drift chat) and, as much as I like what Drift is doing... I guard my time.

The app that was highly recommend, and even had one of their execs jump in on Twitter and suggest I give them a whirl, had the biggest product and support issues. Changing the name of a video caused the whole thing to break... but that could just be a one-off issue.

Video is tough (especially if you aren't using middle out) and maybe things are 100% 100% of the time. But their CEO and I DM'd through the issue and their support team also checked in with me. I haven't given them a cent (yet) and now I'm more loyal than ever.

The other week I tweeted that I rolled into my workflow. A bunch of peers said, "audio issues, watch out, don't use" After demo'ing literally every leader in the space, I can say Loom support is far better than the competition. No SaaS is perfect, but Loom is trying.
