Welp. Seems Twitter’s finally taken away my ability to switch to the old layout, too. This redesign is one of the only things I’ve ever taken the time to fill out a response form for; what a waste of desktop/laptop screens.

Remember that Jurassic Dream game that was popular a while ago? Anyone hit with a black screen (with cursor and sound) when trying to run it? Pretty unfamiliar with PC issues, but I’ve made sure DirectX is installed and all drivers, etc. are up to date.

Where are all the modern high budget CG dinosaur documentaries?

Flicked through a bit of JP3. Occurred to me that it could be pretty great if JW3’s trailer cold-opened with: ‘Dinosaurs lived sixty-five million years ago…’ (Beat.) ‘What is left of them is fossilised in the rocks…’ (Beat.) BOOM. Dinosaurs. Welcome to the Jurassic world.

Regrettable absence of JP3’s Spino aside, it seems iTunes is finally doing right by the JP films. 👏 Fingers crossed those World-ified logos have been permanently banished to the Seventh Circle of Hell.

It’s not for everyone, but it’s by far my favourite sequel. ‘You’re still the best. I mean that.’

Finally digging into Secrets of Dr. Wu — and managing to construct a reasonable park despite the initial financial limitations! It does seem a bit odd, though… ‘Here’s my hidden facility… now build a theme park!’

Always nice when Evolution brings a touch of classic Jurassic to the ears. 🥰

… and if one of my teachers hadn’t come across something I was writing at the time and provided far more encouragement than I deserved, I might never have posted a word online.

Just learned that my old school closed its gates a few weeks ago. Well and truly the end of an era. My last two years in that place were wonderful...

Home. Entirely too quickly. As much as I’m looking forward to getting stuck back into a few things, the emojis still stand...

Part of me does appreciate how ‘clean’ this looks, but, otherwise, I’m a card-carrying member of . (Having said that… *huge* improvement on the orange monstrosity JP3 was saddled with when they gave all the logos the ‘World’ treatment.)

They need to put Astrid in the next film. She deserves to be immortalised in the franchise she loved. I don't care how, give her name to a new character or something. If her family support it, of course.

Was going to say we’re in the same boat on that one... but we’re not, and never will be now. *Cries in Jurassic.*

Looks can be deceiving... in this case, though, they’re most definitely not. 🙂
