Tommy Amaker's finest hour at Seton Hall. Beat Oregon in OT, then Temple, which was a No. 2 seed...I was there with Lafayette working on 'Last Amateurs.' What's more, Indiana got blown out by Pepperdine in what turned out to be Bob Knight's last game as IU coach.

Bleak is a good word. If they don't keep Tavares, might as well not bother to build the new place...

Hardly. He hates the fact that the Bears have been bad for so long. And my tweet has nothing to do with liking or disliking the NFL, I just find this remarkable. If I DID have to fill out a credential application and was asked my race, I'd say, "100 butterfly; when I'm in shape.

Can't believe Hall of Fame is allowing team shills like Michael to vote. He is shameless. You're right about both Frank and Bill...Happy for Adam and you're right, Steve Somers is truly one of a kind...

While I get down on the Isles as quickly as anyone, they are very banged up right now. Four players in the lineup right now who should be playing in the minors. It's especially bad on defense. Bailey back last night but, sadly, didn't help.

They already ask for SS# and/or passport ID. That's fine. You literally can't get into the room to pick up credentials without a driver's license. That's fine too. But race? Really? Never done so how the hell do I know what race I am?

These people aren't applying for a job. It has nothing to do with diversity...

It sure as hell isn't the latter and, come on, if the FBI doesn't think it's necessary why would the NFL?

They tried to claim it was because FBI is now involved in security checks for anyone with a credential. FBI then said, we don't mind having it, but we do NOT require it.
