Does anyone have this issue on their Pixel 3XL where a outline of another notch pops up on the top right side? Placed a white background to show it

It randomly pops up after unlocking my phone & I have to restart my phone to get it to go away. If I perform a screen shot, it won't show up. But it's indeed a over lapping of another notch. What better than one notch, another ghosted one Its notch funny though on $1k phone!

8 notches w/ 4 front facing cameras for the ultimate panoramic view & symmetric speaker grills. *@ZacksJerryRig proved the bottom speaker grill didn't need to be so big, more so for aesthetics as the speaker on top & bottom are same size

Why is that even in the code? The notch is physical not software driven.

actually there's an option in the dev settings that allows you to modify the notch behavior (hide it) but I can't explain how and why there are so many notch 😂

It seems by default that Google has incorporated a software notch to be the place holder of their hardware notch (as it appears during a orientation glitch). But it doesn't make since why they would do that

I guess it's in the code because application developers are thus allowed to experience that notch on their notchless smartphones.

But for whatever reason or decided to turn it on as stock for this device as if they have a software notch (that glitches) behind the hardware notch
