Here it is: I call it The Longplay. It is a 15 hour DJ set of electronic music spanning several eras and a wide range of genres, all mixed in that inimitable Ishkur style.

It is so large that no music site could host it. Believe me, I tried. Mixcloud, Soundcloud, Youtube -- they all choked on its length. So I am hosting it on my own server as an MP3 for you to download and enjoy.

Recommended usage: For those long summer road trips full of driving and little else. If you road trip like I do, you hate stopping for anything other than gas and food. So if you hit the road at 7am, the entire mix will take you until 11pm at night when you're ready for sleep.

You can even put it on a loop if you want to keep driving (but I don't recommend it.

Though I guess you would know what all these genres are if you saw the new guide. I think I just Catch-22'd myself.

Woah. Thank you so much. I'll be sure to check out the other mixes too, but this should prove to be an amazing set. Keep up the fantastic work. I remember finding your stuff back in 2006, even referenced it in my dissertation and it was quite a hit. So, thanks again. <3

Nah, this was just my community college. Might have to poke around for that paper, see how the two compare if I can still find mine.

It's been shuttled around a number of campuses, mostly as a demonstration of visual data presentation rather than an example of crass content. A lot of info-graphic companies have since surpassed it in utility and robustness but back in its day it was all there was.

Exactly. EDM was so relatively new in my school, and I was kinda a forerunner in it, so I was able to use your guide to showcase the variety of the art and break various misinterpretations, and both students and teachers loved it, especially the presentation.

Fair point~ It's bad enough getting everyone to not call all electronic music "techno".
