The feedback so far about Ionic supporting React has blown us away. We came into it apprehensive about whether there was any room next to React Native, but there clearly is. Turns out web devs wanna web dev + target DOM, (reflected in npm installs for react-dom vs react-native)

Thanks to we’ve sold 500+ UI kits for and and grew the user base to more than 10k. Actively looking for a new product idea atm. My team can code, I can design. Any suggestions? A Figma plug-in? A Sketch library?

I have been working on a prototype for mobile app challenge... I'm using it as a playground to test v4 + stencil + capacitor and I must admit I'm impressed how productive I am. Let's see if we make it to the finals:

And if you're wondering why we need an "Ionic React" at all, the primary reason (and the source of most issues/work) is integrating with a router for navigation/transitions/tab history management/etc. You can't just drop in a random web router and get native quality navigation

🐛 Native Bugs & Missing Features 🐛 Plugins are open source, but… they’re built with native code. What can you do? 1) File an issue on GitHub, contact the maintainer directly 2) Hire native developers 3) Contract out (agencies, contractors, consultancies)

General Dependency Update Strategy: Go one step at a time. This reduces the surface area from which issues could arise. Separate branches, one for each stack layer. Test, test, test! Updating early and often leads to stable apps!
