On June 19, Dr. Anton Minkov Endowment Council presented on WW1 Internment with reference to Ukrainian/Bulgarian communities. At the Holy Trinity Hall of Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church in Ottawa. This is the oldest Orthodox church in Ottawa, founded in 1913 by Ukrainians.

My family's story, and others like it, will be screened in the birthplace of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - Geneva, Switzerland. An emotional day for me, an Internee Descendant. My grandfather was interned, and almost deported. Property confiscated.
