No, hacking is NOT a crime, it's a problem-solving activity. As a practice, ethical hacking is alive and well in ; as a mindset and approach, it's the ion engine of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Just did the final Workshop for , this week we hacked Auth0 Live and I talked about how I’d approach Auth0 as a hacker what features stood out to me as potentially vulnerable, we even did a few tests😁 had a great time thank you to for organising!

Don’t worry I know I can google it myself :) I just wanted to keep the conversation going because I think it’s really important that people don’t think money is a barrier to bug hunting and that you can find bugs with the free version :)

This has been a lingering question about using burp community: any ideas of a good, free alternative to collaborator?

I felt this in my bones. It’s really unreasonable to ask for a junior to have the same skill set as a mid. Especially because when we add diversity as a lot of the groups we want to add won’t necessarily have unrestricted access to a computer growing up and develop skills then

There is a lot of talk about the lack of diversity in IT, especially in cyber security. As an industry, we can't magic new people with experience. If an organisation wants more diversity, more entry-level positions need to be created.

“Fuck it” is the attitude you gotta have to create, you will always be your worse critic and be able to find the tiniest flaws, good on you for getting over that and uploading, that and consistency are by far the hardest part of making content

This is a good question that I don’t fully have a good answer for, because I don’t think one exists! I think being clear with who you’re disclosing to, giving as much detail as possible. As for who to contact see if they have a security.txt, failing that LinkedIn can help

Make awful things but vow that the next one will be slightly less awful 🤷‍♀️

Content creation advice: Your first video is going to be awful, but no one will watch it and you can silently delete it and remake it once you can make better content. Don’t let perfectionism put you off, nothing and no one is perfect
