I honestly believe more efforts should have been expended in evacuating people before disaster struck. We all knew this was comin g but am not sure the villagers were warned and rendered enough support then. Hopefully more focus and help is being given to the area.

It was difficult to predict where the eye of the cyclone would hit. And it was difficult to just evacuate all the provinces anticipated to take the force of the cyclone

Usually it's easy to track and predict such cyclones with pinpoint accuracy, at least enough to be able to forestall any loss of life through targeted intervention . Unless if we just don't have the technology to do it.

A permanent solution to towards this is needed. For instance, families should be relocated and settled somewhere in safer zones to avoid a repeat of this.
