The boys attend for free, for 3 years. There is an entrance exam and the top 12 scores island wide, get their high school education paid for by the Mitchell family. It’s a boarding school and most graduates move on to either the police academy or the military...

One of the oldest existing plantations owned by Harold Mitchell and his family. Built in the 18th century in 🇯🇲The family still own the plantation 💭 However agricultural farming takes place here...alongside other tours & a boys school and soon to be girls school.

In 🇯🇲 visiting family & connecting with past, present & future.We went to Operation Restoration Christian School.Did a mini female empowerment workshop with a group of girls.We discussed some of the challenges young women face & overcoming some of these issues.

Teachers, when our kids come back to school, please don't focus on "What did you do this summer?" Many kids didn't leave town. They didn't go on a cruise. They didn't go camping or ride rollercoasters. They are simply thrilled to be back at school. Embrace that.
