Today, Birmigham Children's Services comes out of more than a decade of inadequacy. I could not be prouder of our staff for the efforts they have put in to get us here. The difference they have made for children is immeasurable. Thank you, all of you.

This evening I attended a ThinkIn about racism in the workplace. The analogy I gave was this: Talking about racism in the workplace is like talking about a derelict room in a ruined house. You can fret over the room as much as you want. It’s the house you need to dismantle.

ABC are supporting a call for a National Children's Day in Birmingham on 12-5-19. We encourage ALL Brum's elected civic business community & faith leaders to work together to organise a celebration of our children. We also call for FREE public transport on that day 👍🏿😀👍🏻

When someone says “call me stupid but” and you’re tempted to do just that...when you hear what comes out their mouth next. Had to put my professional hat back on and explain ‘victim blaming’ culture. (9-5 work probs)

Violence towards men is increasing. With young killing old and old killing young, we desperately need to bridge the gaps and reconnect the generations. We aim to do this through the medium of boardgames. They are a great way to start a convo and catch a good vibe.

So I’ll be doing a presentation at the next masters residential, about and how we use character education to empower girls and young women through our programmes. Will be good to get feedback from my course peers! 👩🏾‍🏫🧐😊

I prefer remote working so much more than having to clock in and out at an office. I’m more productive when I can choose where I want to work from

Hi. I’m in Year 12 and a soon-to-be . I want to start filmmaking and I’m planning a documentary about at university. I also want to progress onto university so this is also kind of a research project for me. Does anyone want to help with this? (1/2)

Learning is a key element of leadership, followed by a very important attribute-humility. You can’t learn new things if you can’t admit you’re a work in progress. Be open to recognising your weaknesses as well as your strengths, so you can grow as both a leader and a human being.
