To try & aid the message of , I have conducted some research on the attendances across my local Step 5-6 league. The numbers show average attendances of 112 & 71. These fairly low numbers normally help keep these clubs afloat. They need to return ASAP.

I understand the frustration but it’s important fans don’t give Club Officials a hard time. I know some fans have tried going to games & been turned away. Clubs have been criticised for not bending the rules. They are just trying to do the right thing until the guidance changes

It would be interesting to know if the referees concerns were first shared with Clubs Covid compliance officer. The guidance suggests match officials should report breaches to the County FA - nothing about calling off matches at half time??

The FAs approach is either naive or duplicitous. If fans can’t watch football in public parks the Local Authorities need to involved & they clearly aren’t. If there was a genuine concern about fans at games the Govt would require the FA to do more than send a letter to Clubs.

To be fair this has been widely reported by Clubs but I take your point. It feels like the are pushing more responsibility on to the Clubs, presumably so that if say we cant have fans in the FA will say its the Clubs fault. If so, I think the FA should just say so.
