When you hear “brothers & sisters in blue” and when you hear law enforcement referred to as “a family”, this is what that means. Lt. Gary King’s room was a full house every minute he was hospitalized after being shot by a robber while off duty. He’s now recovering at home.

Out of genuine curiosity, does wear hijab bc she feels she must or bc she chooses to? I recognize its historic significance as a garment of oppression, but many modern Muslim women (at least in the West) get to choose, no? Doesn't that deserve to be celebrated too?

A nightlong vigil from several different agencies for Doral Lt. Gary King, who was shot in his own driveway while off duty. He is stable and talking to officers. Shooter escaped. Happened in Palmetto Bay. reports police are looking for a red Toyota.

Since yesterday, 38 ATVs/Dirt bikes have been towed, 29 citations issued & multiple arrests have been made as a result of our traffic enforcement efforts. DO NOT drive unauthorized vehicles on roadways. The reckless use of off-road vehicles is dangerous to drivers/pedestrians!
