This is not a solution to anything. Electric scooters are also illegal in New York City. You cannot ride them on the streets or on the sidewalks.

Yes, Amazon would come to NYC with no incentives because their competitors are here, the workers they want to hire want to live here, the ad agencies they need to woo are here, the content creators they want are here -- everyone else is already here.

There was also a few days last month when overnight shuttle service was disrupted because was paving Metropolitan Ave -- the route the shuttles take. No coordination between agencies, and also slower shuttle service.

There is this fantasy that riders would take a shuttle to Nassau, wait for the G, ride one stop to connect to the L.

For instance, when is doing service between Nassau and Court Square, shuttle buses end at Nassau instead of connecting to the at Lorimer.

Its good coverage for them to distract that more people are avoiding the slipshod service, especially at night and on weekends. It's not helped by badly designed alternative service.
