The 2hrs it takes to get home after a 10+hr flight back to Tokyo are always the worst.

I think it shows the power of developer communities to help people grow. Lots of opportunities to help others and learn from it.

8 year ago today, I joined to YouTube team and I haven't imagined I would be in Google Cloud team. (There wasn't even GCP team at that time.) Also and I were in Python community in Tokyo. We (at least I) had never imagined we would work in the same team.

I've been using parts of this while it was in Alpha. I'm really impressed. gVisor is great for what I'm doing and Horizontal Scaling is almost magical.

Also, clearly mark when you finish work. When I do this well I leave the home office, eat dinner, and change my clothes. I don't work after that.

"Don't work until you finish your morning routine" is good advise. I also use calendar to manage my plan for the day. Pomodoro timers if my motivation is low. Reward yourself in small ways after you get some work done.

I'm not really a Taylor Swift fan but I really identify with the right of women in particular to shake off the comments of their detractors.

“gVisor”, Google’s open source Linux container sandbox in userspace, has a website now: I’m still trying it out myself but this looks awesome. is the person to follow/ask gVisor questions!
