Prison Slavery #BurnThePrisons Jun 15
Prisoncrats biggest job is to make prisoners feel that any form of resistance is pointless, nothing will or has changed. This is why its important that prisoners are made aware of successful challenges or ongoing support and organizing based off of prisoners resistance

The Appeal Jun 14
In Chicago, TV news media blames a weekend of gun violence on a new bail reform initiative. It's part of their habitual reliance on the Chicago Police Department's narrative for their crime reporting. Media Frame.

More to the point, abolition has its origins in decades of organizing& thinking in prison as well as in the academy (& elsewhere). So fringe to who? Not in the world of prison reform, where abolitionists have long been a mainstay.

bill keller writing about abolition without talking to 1 abolitionist is up there with your embarrassing coverage of the 2018 prison strike, wherein mocked organizers and suggested they were lying while giving a former prison warden his own space for a fluffy interview

This headline is clickbait. And while plenty of ancillary history is referenced, there is zero real analysis or research on the present, just a rehash of other articles also w/o sources or stats.
