Contrary to the frequent public perception, ICC is not targeting the African continent, some of the most important supporters of the are Nigeria and Ghana. Yes, African victims benefit more of ICC's services than others but that shouldn't be a reason for complaint.

The purpose of the is to prevent war through the rule of law and provide access to justice, where that otherwise could not be possible. The ICC is meant to step in, when nations are unable or unwilling to procure crimes.
