Always remember that statistically patients are less likely to clean their hands whilst admitted to the healthcare setting. It is so important to encourage them to clean their hands after using toilet facilities and before eating food

IPC Prompts: Remember to deglove & decontaminate hands when cutting dressing pieces/tape/podiatry foam etc. Never leave gloves on, this leads to cross contamination of supplies! The 5 Moments of Hand Hygiene can help us all to do better😃
