Great to see Senator moving a very important Bill through the Seanad today. The Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) (Amendment) Bill 2017 will ensure involuntary patients in hospital for mental heath treatment will have their treatment will & preferences respected.

Dáil just passed Mental Health motion incl amendments to publish a costed plan for 24/7 services, appoint a MH Director, stop freezes on recruitment or overtime and advance legislation on patients right. Now we have to hold them to it. Tnks to for help
