Dr Miyako Satouchi former BOD member speaking in the IASLC-JLCS session at JLCS2019 on challenges in Japan for women in the field. JLCS included a session on work-life balance and challenges. Great to see open discussion on the topic!

Great talk by Pasi Janne on Japanese subsets from RELAY and FLAURA at JLCS2019. Dr Seto showed Japanese subset in RELAY similar to overall, but Dr Nogami presented surprising OS in the Japanese FLAURA subset. Comparator arm outcomes superior without clear explanation.

in the opening ceremony of JLCS2019 in Osaka Great start to what should be a fabulous meeting. He mentioned the common arm analysis which demonstrated genetic differences in chemo metabolism which remains very relevant today in the era of targeted therapy.
