The Servant of the People party has since officially refuted this information on Facebook, calling it "an initiative of an individual deputy that does not coincide with the position of the party" and adding that such radical changes are impossible at this stage.

Kharkiv police did not specify the name of the detained man. However, lawyer Ihor Nahorny confirmed in a comment to Ukrinform that it was his client Kromsky. According to Nahorny, Kromsky was detained "unlawfully," & after an inspection, police allegedly released him.

Servant of the People MP Tetyana Hryshchenko registered a bill proposing not to hold a 2nd round of local elections as it is provided by law, during quarantine, but after the restrictions are lifted, she wrote on Facebook. Thus she wants to avoid overburdeing the medical system.

When speaking to the parliament today, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said hospitals for patients currently use ~10% of 4,600 ventilators. Also, by November 10, the number of beds for COVID-19 patients will increase by 10,000, taking the total in Ukraine to 52,000.
