Do you happen to have any still in the husk? I could show in comparison with a horse chestnut to show the diff.

Out of curiosity. You live on a farm, & your dogs do outside work. What do you use/recommend for F&T control? We stopped using Frontline after finding out there's some concerning research linking it to Thyroid cancer, & Lyme is pretty bad in our neck of the woods.

Ahhh. Makes sense, what cuts up bugs isnt great for consuming. We aren't using it on the cats since they are 100% indoor (too many cars in our area) but Jake does occasionally lick his legs.

I...dust my dog with this as a flea and tick preventative. But....why would anyone want to *eat* the stuff?

Nope, I keep black oil sunflower in the feeder during the cold season b3cause higher fat and more bang for their buck, nutritionally. I haven't been putting out seed in the summer because the squirrels kept demolishing it. The cage suet feeder at least they can't get into.

Right there with ya. I've repeatedly told doctor & husband "I used it once for it's intended purpose. I love my kiddo. But I'm 1 & done. More babies is NOT gonna happen. So can we like, uninstall the program?"

Oh, good to know, thank you! I'll have to look into snagging one. Yeah, I feel the same about the flock of European Starlings that descends upon our yard every year. Obnoxious bullies with horrible manners.

Ahhhh, I thought it was some type of young sparrow. Well, what's done is done. The 6 year old finding a dead baby bird in the feeder wouldn't have been great, so better it was me that found it. Wish there was suet varieties only the native birds liked
