Hi Tom, If you we're to run into an issue where the system is having issues reaching set point we suggest reaching out to a H-VAC professional to check out the system, the thermostat does not control how warn the air is, it simply tell the system to turn on and off. -Joey

The model number usually starts with an R or a T. However, since you're located in London, we recommend contacting our UK support at consumersupportuk@honeywellhome.com. We only work with US and Canadian products so our troubleshooting might not be correct for your device. -Kari

Our thermostats have the Adaptive Recovery feature that will start the system before, to reach the set temperature by the desired time. Please send us a DM with the model number of your thermostat and we will be happy to send you the instructions to turn that feature off. - Maria

Hi there! Thank you for contacting us. Please press and hold "Menu" on the thermostat until you see "Device Setup" and press "Select". Press the right arrow until you see number 300, press "Edit" and then the right arrow until you see "On". Press "Done" and then "Back". - Maria
