The 20mph speed limit is a complete joke on Half Moon Lane; drivers obeying the limit get overtaken and the Uber I was in a few days ago reached 45mph. Cameras desperately needed.

Pleasure to speak to about Thomas Lynn Bristowe, MP for Norwood 1885-1892 - he wasn’t contactable by Twitter but he did secure wonderful Brockwell Park for his constituents. Tragically died from a heart attack at the opening ceremony in 1892

Local MP gives a lively lecture to commemorate her predecessor Thomas Lynn Bristowe who led the campaign to create Brockwell Park. Sadly he collapsed and died at the opening in 1892, but the park lives on as an essential local green space

I met GTR re appalling new timetable chaos in my constituency - I emphasised 2 trains an hour through Herne Hill simply not acceptable and action is urgently needed. If you are waiting longer than 15 minutes at Herne Hill you can claim compensation here:

Sad times. Tonight's the last film from the brilliant free film festival. Being Blacker is, "an intimate portrait of Brixton’s own reggae producer, businessman, father, son and community pillar, Blacker Dread". 7pm at The Railway, Tulse Hill.
