It is difficult to get the news from poems yet men die miserably every day for lack of what is found there.

So... apparently this week we sold our millionth ticket for Who’d have thought that, when we embarked on it ten years ago. So proud to have given so many children (and families) their first experience of theatre...

‘It felt more like the forewarned journey back Into the heartland of the ordinary. Still my old self. Ready to knock one back. A nine-to-five man who had seen poetry.’ Seamus Heaney (And one of my favourite lines ever written)

Had 61 patients on my screen to triage this am. Receptionist sent message asking me to prioritise one “he said it wasn’t urgent, but something not quite right”. Probably saved his life. GP reception staff are amazing.

This year's cast are doing a stunning job. Can't wait for the show to open at the O2 next week. Can't believe this will be our ninth year on tour. I have a lot more grey hair than when we first made the show. And my baby is now 11. Blimey.

Such a brilliant couple of days in the rehearsal room, ahead of our tour this summer. Couldn't be prouder of this bicycle-powered eco-musical... touring to a festival near you!!
