Both in this interview and in the WHO sit-rep from today, there is a claim that asymptomatic transmission is rare. Do you know the sources for this claim? Are they public?

I believe there is no way at this point they could have the data to say it’s rare; I think it means it has rarely been reported or the existing data cannot be relied upon

The exponential increase in new cases in China is insane.

Is it or did they hide the outbreak initially as local officials don’t like to report bad news.
