They were all, as Shakespeare would say, honourable men.

Andrew's first response is Epstein's house was "a convenient place to stay." Then he says it was the "honourable and right" thing to do. In fact, Andrew's fault was he was "too honourable." Then likens house to a "railway station."

It's really worth reading the actual transcript of Prince Andew's disastrous BBC interview. Particularly this part, when hen's asked why he spent several days at Epstein's residence in 2010 (i.e. after Epstein's conviction as a child molester).

If that's the criteria then you'd have to ask who draws the biggest crowds and gets (by far) the most individual donations.

Even if one stipulates for the sake of argument that Dems need to nominate a moderate liberal rather than a leftist, that doesn't explain preferring Biden & Buttigieg to Klobuchar & Booker (who, to my eyes, seem on paper like very electable moderate liberals).

The question is are primary voters well equipped to judge who is electable or not? Because right now, voters think Biden and Buttigieg are more electable than Klobuchar & Booker. I'm not sure I agree.

It's weird how many Dem voters have forgotten that their most successful politician electorally since FDR was a black guy named Barack Hussein Obama -- first Dem to win over 50% of the vote in a presidential election twice since 1940s.

This is the issue. There's a swath of Dem voters who aren't asking "what do I want" but "what do Trump voters in mid-west diners" want: a by-product of certain type of New York Times coverage.

Dem voters second guessing themselves about electability is a big dynamic. I actually think it's hurt Klobuchar & Booker more than Sanders & Warren. K & B are underperforming because the type of voter who worries about electability gravitate towards white men.
