When you have a neurotypical child and a non-neurotypical child, you appreciate both. One child can light up a room with jokes, the other ignores the people and analyzes the window angles. And our world honestly needs both. ❤️

A sick kiddo means I only greeted voters in today, but I loved meeting so many people putting democracy into action! And this kiddo sure was happy that mom finally came home. ❤️

*personal post* We need a cure for ALS. My dear friend is fighting for her life and teaching others to “go on, be brave” in every aspect of life. Please watch, take a moment to learn about ALS research and her foundation, and ... join us in November.

If you’d like to volunteer at early voting sites, I can’t pay you. (That’s really a thing😳). But I can let you borrow a chair, sunscreen and a t-shirt. Thanks to everyone for your support so far. I’ve met so many advocates, and I am inspired to keep doing work - no matter what.

Early voting starts in a few days. I still have a few “candidate” commitments, but this is it. I’m really proud of my self-funded, non-endorsed campaign. I’ve been transparent with stakeholders and have shared many ideas (not done yet! Have four more pieces!). But...
