You ragequitting a game because other people are enjoying it differently than you would isn't something affecting you, it's a choice you're making. You're the one doing a thing. Nothing is being done to you.

No, the entertainment I derive is being made of lower quality while trying to pander to a greater audience. My purchase is of a lower value. The whole market plummets because of choosing to pander.

Weird how you claim to have a masters in economics but can’t see the value in expanding a video game’s demographic.

Because I see the value in increased quality and the expansion of the market into other branches.

It’s wild you think including difficulty modes somehow affects a game’s quality.

It's wild how you are refuting all of what I've written on a whim.

Yet you are the one claiming me not having a voice, and then telling me not to buy your product. Who is the one closing the doors? I have laid on the table several points. All you have said is that you prefer more people instead of focusing on a single category of people.

Yes I want the games I work on to be experienced and enjoyed by as many people as possible and not like a tiny subset of people who get mad online when someone plays a game on storymode. Why is that so foreign to you.

Because there are concepts like being "cult classics", like Operation Flashpoint, or difficulty integrated into a gaming experience, like old city builders. Do you really believe that SimCity becoming easier and cornier served that franchise good? Are you not aware of this?

I don’t care because other peoples’ difficulty settings don’t affect me and I choose not to be mad about how other people decide to play the game they purchased and can do whatever they want with.
