A good thing to do has said that doing the haram is a good thing and this is very dangerous. Also there are other conditions of the contract ie; the woman must have a wali. Idk where you'll find a girl who's parents are going to be okay with this so that's another safegaurd.

Seems like people have questions on the fiqh of marriage It is advisable that one learns their deen from a teacher and for those who want to get married this is obligatory upon them iA Markaz Imam Malik will have a Fard Ayn Fiqh of Marriage course with Sh. Zuhayr Qazzan

Only someone ignorant of the madhhab would say it's only limited to north africa. The madhhab is alive and stufied in North Africa, Egypt, Africa, the Khaleej, and anywhere else there are malikis.

if I'm going to become Maliki then I am going to need someone to teach it to me, he went and got me a copy of a translation of Risala ibn Abi Zaid and from then on I said bismillah and it's been a decision that made a lot of impact on my life. Since then I went to Egypt

within the Maliki madhhab, knowing about the current mashayikh of the madhhab, and reading about the usool of the madhhab I fell in love and things clicked for me with it. Also was there to help get me started and when I approached him about it he said to me

It was actually something that took me almost a year to decide. I was shafai just because I'm Palestinian and my dad always said "we're shafais" however (and with all due respect and love for Imam al Shafai) after reading alot about the life of Imam Malik, the different figures

This is not to say there aren't times where it isn't warranted to be rough with people however there is a time and a place and a way to do it.

The Arab world has a reputation for not being able to have civil public discourse but I've noticed the opposite esp among people of ilm If you are going to criticize others there's a level of adab that is actually expected and not adhering to that quickly gets you disliked

and couple has not begun their married life the contract will be dissolved. However, if they began their married life and then this was found out then the court will punish the couple. *Summarized from Al Sharh al Saghir. Many details branch off this.

Secret marriages In the Maliki school secret marriages are dissolved by the court if found and the fuqahaa mention that this is a matter that resembles zina. If the witnesses are asked to keep a marriage secret from another of the man's wives or from specific group of people

All of the books I have that Sh translated. May Allah bless and increase him for the valuable work he has put out for the ummah making the Islamic sciences more accessible. When I was shafai (and didn't know Arabic) his works were a major benefit to learn my fard ayn.
