Was going to suggest the same books and series. It’s hard for children when they go through this. It something I struggled with because of my skin tone. Knowing that they you’re not alone is the greatest thing.

I agree with Melissia. Understanding Comms/PR is such a challenge if you're new or young or not plugged into the networks with connections. Oppunurunity is one thing, but information that empowers one to use that opportunity to its full potential is another.

The other thing is about having support systems at all levels. Being able to know you have a place and can occupy space just as you are is crucial. There are still so many very big rooms and spaces where I’m an only/ or one of a few in our industry. 2/2

It's about having positive role models. If the people representing the industry at career days or in public forums don't represent the population, then you have a challenge of attracting BAME talent. 1/2
